Summer Global Health Trips

This summer will be an exciting time for UTHSCSA students as many of them travel to foreign countries to gain medical and volunteer experience. Several of the many countries being visited by UTHSCSA students this summer include Nepal, Ethiopia, and Spain. We have a large network of opportunities for students to volunteer and observe in hospitals in foreign countries including the following: Mexico (Mexico City), Gautemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic, and Ethiopia. These are all countries that our students and faculty have visited previously and set up lasting connections with doctors and hospitals.
